Grounded in PaddleSafe™ and WaterWise™ principles, our team serves open water swimmers, paddlers, and participants through safety, stewardship, and connection—on land and water.

Provide direct water safety support through monitoring, prevention, and rescue response. Lifeguards maintain positioning on the course and serve as the primary responders in the water.

Lead water-based fitness and wellness classes. Promote safe movement, confidence, and connection on the water.

🚣 Swim Monitors
Support swimmer safety through observation and communication. Monitors assist with awareness, spacing, and early identification of swimmers needing support.
🧭 Certified Officials & Referees
Ensure course integrity, swimmer direction, and event standards. Officials support fair, organized, and safe event execution.
🧭 Course Directors
Design and manage swim courses, including buoy placement and safety flow. Ensure courses align with safety standards and swimmer experience.
🚑 Medical Professionals
Provide on-site medical support and assist with emergency response when needed. Work in coordination with lifeguards and safety team leadership.
🛟 Safety Directors
Oversee safety operations, team coordination, and emergency preparedness. Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Water Safety Plan.
🤿 Deep Water Divers
Support underwater safety and recovery when needed. Assist with advanced safety operations in deeper water areas.
🌊 Water Safety Instructors
Provide education and training in water safety, paddling skills, and awareness. Support both participant learning and team development.
🤝 Hospitality Crew
📋 Event Organizers
Welcome and support swimmers and participants before and after events. Provide a warm, organized, and community-centered environment.
Coordinate logistics, registration, and overall event flow. Organizers ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for all participants.

Lake Clare
We offer a growing range of training programs designed to prepare and support members of the L4L Aquatics Safety Team.
Grounded in PaddleSafe™ and WaterWise™ principles, these trainings provide both foundational knowledge and hands-on experience in open water safety, communication, and response.
As courses and certification pathways are developed, opportunities will be added here.
