Yin Yoga is a slow, grounding practice featuring longer-held seated and reclined poses designed to support flexibility, mobility, recovery, and connective tissue health.
Rather than flowing quickly from one posture to another, Yin invites us to settle into supported shapes for longer periods of time—creating space to explore sensation, practice stillness, and allow the body to gradually soften.
Practices may support:
🌿 Flexibility + mobility
💪 Recovery from strength + activity
🧘♀️ Connective tissue health
🏃♀️ Active + endurance lifestyles
🌬️ Breath awareness
💜 Stillness + relaxation
Yin can be an especially valuable complement to strength training, running, cycling, swimming, and other endurance or high-demand activities. It is equally welcoming for anyone simply looking for a slower practice and intentional time to pause, breathe, stretch, and reconnect.
